Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Chakraghatta Rural Municipality had total 27,952 population with 14,306 males and 13,646 females. Out of total wards, ward number 8 had the largest population 3,958, while ward number 6 had least number of population with 3,958.
With respect to number of households, Chakraghatta Rural Municipality had total 4,409 households. The ward number 8 had most households with total 647, while ward number 6 had least number of households with total 347 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 1.05, which indicates that Chakraghatta Rural Municipality had -5 percent lower males as compared to the females. Same as, the population to household ratio was 6.34, which means that in average 6.34 family members lived in each household.

Gender wise, top 5 most age groups male population were between 5 and 9 (2,219), between 10 and 14 (1,962), below 4 (1,715), between 15 and 19 (1,300), and between 25 and 29 (1,019), with total population of 8,215. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were above 75 (159), between 70 and 74 (226), between 65 and 69 (284),between 55 and 59 (387), and between 60 and 64 (418), with total population of 1,474. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were between 5 and 9 (2,104), between 10 and 14 (1,897), below 4 (1,697), between 25 and 29 (1,021), and between 15 and 19 (1,020), with total population of 7,739. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were above 75 (187), between 70 and 74 (204), between 65 and 69 (278),between 60 and 64 (359), and between 55 and 59 (401), with total population of 1,429.
The population with age-group 15 to 19 had male to female ratio of 1.27, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group above 75 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.85. The age-groups 15 to 19, 40 to 44, 50 to 54, 60 to 64, 70 to 74, 5 to 9, 10 to 14, 35 to 39, 65 to 69, below 4 had majority of male population while age-groups 45 to 49, 20 to 24, 55 to 59, 30 to 34, above 75 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups 25 to 29 had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

Population Ratios
There were 55,629.63 % (15,020 ) of independent population, the working age people between ages of 15 and 64 years. The dependent children, ages below 15 years, were 42,940.74 % with total number of 11,594. The dependent elderly population, aged 65 and above were 4,955.56 % with total number of 1,338. As such, total dependent population including children and elderly people were 47,896.30 with total number of 12,932
There were 6,091 women of child-bearing age-group of 15 to 49 years. Same as, the todlers or children of 4 years or below were 3,412. The ratio of woman of child-bearing age and the number of todlers state that, approximately 560 children were born per 1,000 women. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Chakraghatta is Bajjika, which is spoken by 18,120 people. The Chakraghatta has people who speak other languages, such as Urdu, Maithili, Avadhi, Nepali, Rai, Hindi, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Chakraghatta Rural Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Yadav caste with total population of 7,680. There were as little as Kathbaniyan caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Chakraghatta are Muslim, Teli, Chamar/Harijan/Ram, Lohar, Baraee, Kalwar, Marwadi, Koiri/Kushwaha, Dusadh/Pasawan/Pasi, Khatwe, Tatma/Tatwa, Kumhar, Bin, Musahar, Hajam/Thakur, Sonar, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Dhanuk, Kanu, Nuniya, Dhobi, Kurmi, Mallaha, Haluwai, Rai, Mali, Brahmin - Tarai, Bhote, Dom, Natuwa, Kayastha, Gaderi/Bhedhar, Brahmin - Hill, Kathbaniyan, Terai Others, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.
Top five castes of people in Chakraghatta Rural Municipality are Yadav (7,680), Muslim (5,193), Teli (3,302), Chamar/Harijan/Ram (1,197) and Lohar (849) with total population of 18,221, which forms 67,485.19 percent out of total population of 27 in Chakraghatta Rural Municipality.Population by Disability
Similarly, there were 48 people who were blind and 28 people were deaf, while 5 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 21 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 13 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
With respect to wall of the houses, 92 houses were mud bonded, 1,095 houses were cement bonded, 269 houses were wood planks bonded, 2,904 houses were bamboo bonded and 4 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 507 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 60 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 3,365 houses had roof of tile, 391 houses had RCC roofs, 33 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 3,769 out of 4,409 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 415 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 183 houses reported having ordinary toilets.
Utilities
With reference to source of fuel, 2,120 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 105 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 6 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (2,016), bio-gas (4), fuel electricity (0), etc.
Same as, total 1,374 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 2,952, while 32 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.31.
