Budhiganga is a Municipality, which is located in Bajura district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Budhiganga has total 10 wards, which are scattered across 59 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Budhiganga Municipality had total population of 21,677.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Budhiganga Municipality had total 21,677 population with 9,975 males and 11,702 females. Out of total wards, ward number 10 had the largest population 3,067, while ward number 5 had least number of population with 3,067.
With respect to number of households, Budhiganga Municipality had total 4,277 households. The ward number 10 had most households with total 563, while ward number 5 had least number of households with total 300 number of households.

There were only 11,182 people fully literate in Budhiganga Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 331 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 7,657 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Budhiganga Municipality, total 3,832 males and 3,825 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 2,075 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 722 male and 1,353 female were not attending teh school. Out of total 4277 households in Budhiganga Municipality, there were 4,086 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 0 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 138houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,951 houses were mud bonded, 5 houses were cement bonded, 138 houses were wood planks bonded, 5 houses were bamboo bonded and 98 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 530 establishments in Budhiganga Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,121 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 727 and female engagement of 394 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.12 people engaged with average males are 1.37 and females are 0.74. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.85, which means as many as 1.85 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 64.85 percent while the females are 35.15 percent.
