Bindabasini is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Parsa district, Province No. 2 of Nepal. Bindabasini has total 5 wards, which are scattered across 26 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bindabasini Rural Municipality had total population of 24,468.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bindabasini Rural Municipality had total 24,468 population with 12,636 males and 11,832 females. Out of total wards, ward number 5 had the largest population 6,151, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 6,151.
With respect to number of households, Bindabasini Rural Municipality had total 3,576 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 915, while ward number 1 had least number of households with total 296 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 10,423 people fully literate in Bindabasini Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 617 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 5,100 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Bindabasini Rural Municipality, total 2,812 males and 2,288 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 4,711 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 2,234 male and 2,477 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.23 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.90.The CBS census also states that 452 males and 545 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 8,046 in Bindabasini Rural Municipality with 3,923 (48.76%) of males and 4,123 (51.24%) females. There were total 11 schools. In average, 731 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Bindabasini is Bhojpuri, which is spoken by 20,238 people. The Bindabasini has people who speak other languages, such as Maithili, Ghale, Doteli, Nepali, Limbu, etc.

There were as little as Kayastha caste with population of as little as 14 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bindabasini are Muslim, Kanu, Kurmi, Bin, Teli, Tatma/Tatwa, Chamar/Harijan/Ram, Mallaha, Magar, Kumal, Dhobi, Dusadh/Pasawan/Pasi, Yadav, Koiri/Kushwaha, Kalwar, Kathbaniyan, Kumhar, Lohar, Hajam/Thakur, Bangali, Terai Others, Sonar, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Brahmin - Hill, Brahmin - Tarai, Nuniya, Ghale, Kamar, Kahar, Damai/Dholi, Sarki, Dhanuk, Dhunia, Yakkha, Mali, Limbu, Kayastha, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total 3576 households in Bindabasini Rural Municipality, there were 41 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1,087 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 54 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 2,312houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 41 houses were mud bonded, 1,105 houses were cement bonded, 23 houses were wood planks bonded, 2,341 houses were bamboo bonded and 10 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 3,576 households in Bindabasini Rural Municipality, 137 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 3,351 households reported of using at least one facility. Households using at least one facility, such as radio, television, internet, etc. have been illustrated in the table below.Bicycle was used by the maximum households with total users of 3,198, while MobilePhone was the next mostly used facilities with total household users of 1,765.
Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 484 establishments in Bindabasini Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,054 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 889 and female engagement of 165 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.18 people engaged with average males are 1.84 and females are 0.34. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 5.39, which means as many as 5.39 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 84.35 percent while the females are 15.65 percent.
