Bihadi is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Parbat district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Bihadi has total 6 wards, which are scattered across 45 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bihadi Rural Municipality had total population of 13,403.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bihadi Rural Municipality had total 13,403 population with 5,849 males and 7,554 females. Out of total wards, ward number 6 had the largest population 2,681, while ward number 4 had least number of population with 2,681.
With respect to number of households, Bihadi Rural Municipality had total 2,941 households. The ward number 6 had most households with total 578, while ward number 4 had least number of households with total 383 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.77, which indicates that Bihadi Rural Municipality had 23 percent lower males as compared to the females. Same as, the population to household ratio was 4.56, which means that in average 4.56 family members lived in each household.
Absentee Population
As of 2011, 2,657 population in Bihadi Rural Municipality were absent from their households, which equals to 19.82 percent of the total population. In terms of age, the largest population in Bihadi Rural Municipality were between 10 and 14 years of age with total 1,841. Gender wise, there were 924 males and 917 females of the same age group. The least populated age group was between 70 and 74 with total 303 population, which consistes of 148 males and 155 females. Top 5 most populated age groups were between 10 and 14 (1,841), between 15 and 19 (1,645), between 5 and 9 (1,587), below 4 (1,371), between 20 and 24 (1,042) with total population of 7,486. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 8,939 people fully literate in Bihadi Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 248 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 4,151 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Bihadi Rural Municipality, total 2,090 males and 2,061 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 955 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 267 male and 688 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.01 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.39.The CBS census also states that 33 males and 18 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.
Grade 1-12 Students & Schools
According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 7,455 in Bihadi Rural Municipality with 3,500 (46.95%) of males and 3,955 (53.05%) females. There were total 35 schools. In average, 213 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Bihadi is Nepali, which is spoken by 12,061 people. The Bihadi has people who speak other languages, such as Magar, Gurung, Newar, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bihadi Rural Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Brahmin - Hill caste with total population of 5,663. There were as little as Bote caste with population of as little as 15 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bihadi are Chhetri, Magar, Sarki, Kami, Damai/Dholi, Gurung, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Newar, Kumal, Gharti/Bhujel, Majhi, Badi, Muslim, Bote, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total population of 13,403, there were total 241 (1.80%) disabled persons in Bihadi Rural Municipality with 125 (51.87%) males and 116 (48.13%) females. The physically disabled persons were 68, while mentally disabled people were 31 and intellectually disabled were 5.
Similarly, there were 32 people who were blind and 40 people were deaf, while 3 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 42 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 20 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
Out of total 2941 households in Bihadi Rural Municipality, there were 2,783 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 38 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 5 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 95houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,710 houses were mud bonded, 115 houses were cement bonded, 2 houses were wood planks bonded, 94 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 765 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 2,030 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 92 houses had roof of tile, 34 houses had RCC roofs, 1 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.

With reference to source of fuel, 2,838 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 7 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 68 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (3), bio-gas (11), fuel electricity (0), etc.
Same as, total 2,414 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 429, while 64 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.82.

out of 2,941 households in Bihadi Rural Municipality, 355 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 2,572 households reported of using at least one facility. Households using at least one facility, such as radio, television, internet, etc. have been illustrated in the table below.MobilePhone was used by the maximum households with total users of 2,244, while Radio was the next mostly used facilities with total household users of 2,001.
Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 278 establishments in Bihadi Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 863 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 463 and female engagement of 400 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.10 people engaged with average males are 1.67 and females are 1.44. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.16, which means as many as 1.16 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 53.65 percent while the females are 46.35 percent.
