Bhimad is a Municipality, which is located in Tanahun district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Bhimad has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 129 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bhimad Municipality had total population of 31,362.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bhimad Municipality had total 31,362 population with 13,360 males and 18,002 females. Out of total wards, ward number 6 had the largest population 5,191, while ward number 3 had least number of population with 5,191.
With respect to number of households, Bhimad Municipality had total 7,488 households. The ward number 6 had most households with total 1,377, while ward number 3 had least number of households with total 439 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 21,327 people fully literate in Bhimad Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 671 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 9,628 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Bhimad Municipality, total 4,703 males and 4,925 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 3,206 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 1,046 male and 2,160 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 0.95 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.48.The CBS census also states that 131 males and 240 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 4,239 in Bhimad Municipality with 2,122 (50.06%) of males and 2,117 (49.94%) females. There were total 67 schools. In average, 63 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Bhimad is Nepali, which is spoken by 16,033 people. The Bhimad has people who speak other languages, such as Magar, Newar, Gurung, Urdu, Kumal, Bhojpuri, Rai, Maithili, Thakali, Sign Language, Tharu, Tamang, etc.

There were as little as Haluwai caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bhimad are Brahmin - Hill, Kami, Newar, Sarki, Damai/Dholi, Thakuri, Kumal, Gurung, Gharti/Bhujel, Chhetri, Muslim, Badi, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Rai, Thakali, Tamang, Undefined Others, Terai Others, Tharu, Sunuwar, Darai, Haluwai, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Household Foundation
Out of total 7488 households in Bhimad Municipality, there were 5,701 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1,257 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 310 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 123houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 5,603 houses were mud bonded, 1,666 houses were cement bonded, 27 houses were wood planks bonded, 89 houses were bamboo bonded and 4 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 1,512 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 3,495 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 1,277 houses had roof of tile, 1,098 houses had RCC roofs, 4 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 1,583 out of 7,488 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 4,384 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 1,429 houses reported having ordinary toilets.

out of 7,488 households in Bhimad Municipality, 781 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 6,385 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 1,011 establishments in Bhimad Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,638 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,327 and female engagement of 1,311 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.61 people engaged with average males are 1.31 and females are 1.30. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.01, which means as many as 1.01 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 50.30 percent while the females are 49.70 percent.
