Bheriganga is a Municipality, which is located in Surkhet district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Bheriganga has total 13 wards, which are scattered across 256 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bheriganga Municipality had total population of 41,407.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bheriganga Municipality had total 41,407 population with 19,145 males and 22,262 females. Out of total wards, ward number 11 had the largest population 3,796, while ward number 7 had least number of population with 3,796.
With respect to number of households, Bheriganga Municipality had total 8,825 households. The ward number 11 had most households with total 864, while ward number 7 had least number of households with total 420 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.86, which indicates that Bheriganga Municipality had 14 percent lower males as compared to the females. Same as, the population to household ratio was 4.69, which means that in average 4.69 family members lived in each household.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 25,919 people fully literate in Bheriganga Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 971 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 14,223 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Bheriganga Municipality, total 7,049 males and 7,174 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 5,228 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 2,010 male and 3,218 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 0.98 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.62.The CBS census also states that 208 males and 269 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 9,100 in Bheriganga Municipality with 4,476 (49.19%) of males and 4,624 (50.81%) females. There were total 49 schools. In average, 186 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Bheriganga is Nepali, which is spoken by 39,808 people. The Bheriganga has people who speak other languages, such as Magar, Gurung, Raji, Hindi, Urdu, Newar, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Tharu, etc.

There were as little as Kayastha caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bheriganga are Kami, Magar, Sarki, Damai/Dholi, Brahmin - Hill, Thakuri, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Badi, Gurung, Raji, Newar, Muslim, Gaine, Tharu, Tamang, Rai, Haluwai, Gharti/Bhujel, Kathbaniyan, Terai Others, Kayastha, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Similarly, there were 209 people who were blind and 129 people were deaf, while 16 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 90 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 77 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
Out of total 8825 households in Bheriganga Municipality, there were 5,584 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 428 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 202 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 2,535houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 5,290 houses were mud bonded, 936 houses were cement bonded, 2,211 houses were wood planks bonded, 45 houses were bamboo bonded and 215 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 4,152 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 1,271 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 2,208 houses had roof of tile, 736 houses had RCC roofs, 48 houses had roof of woods while 341 houses were reported having roof of mud. With reference to source of fuel, 8,427 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 11 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 239 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (15), bio-gas (83), fuel electricity (4), etc.

out of 8,825 households in Bheriganga Municipality, 1,720 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 6,900 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 1,410 establishments in Bheriganga Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 3,468 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,844 and female engagement of 1,624 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.46 people engaged with average males are 1.31 and females are 1.15. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.14, which means as many as 1.14 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 53.17 percent while the females are 46.83 percent.
