Bhageshwor is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Dadeldhura district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Bhageshwor has total 5 wards, which are scattered across 233 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bhageshwor Rural Municipality had total population of 14,129.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bhageshwor Rural Municipality had total 14,129 population with 6,728 males and 7,401 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 3,717, while ward number 5 had least number of population with 3,717.
With respect to number of households, Bhageshwor Rural Municipality had total 2,462 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 682, while ward number 5 had least number of households with total 317 number of households.

There were only 8,396 people fully literate in Bhageshwor Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 353 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 4,968 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Bhageshwor Rural Municipality, total 2,457 males and 2,511 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 1,588 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 611 male and 977 female were not attending teh school. According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 12,606 in Bhageshwor Rural Municipality with 6,019 (47.75%) of males and 6,587 (52.25%) females. There were total 35 schools. In average, 360 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Bhageshwor is Doteli, which is spoken by 13,542 people. The Bhageshwor has people who speak other languages, such as Nepali, Kham, Magar, etc.

There were as little as Chamar/Harijan/Ram caste with population of as little as 13 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bhageshwor are Brahmin - Hill, Kami, Sarki, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Damai/Dholi, Thakuri, Magar, Lohar, Dalit Others, Limbu, Chamar/Harijan/Ram, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Household Foundation
Out of total 2462 households in Bhageshwor Rural Municipality, there were 2,365 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 10 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 1 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 61houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,250 houses were mud bonded, 70 houses were cement bonded, 98 houses were wood planks bonded, 14 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

The households still using kerosene as source of light were 299, while 482 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.25.

Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 357 establishments in Bhageshwor Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 719 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 561 and female engagement of 158 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.01 people engaged with average males are 1.57 and females are 0.44. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 3.55, which means as many as 3.55 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 78.03 percent while the females are 21.97 percent.
