Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bateshwor Rural Municipality had total 21,530 population with 11,149 males and 10,381 females. Out of total wards, ward number 5 had the largest population 5,985, while ward number 4 had least number of population with 5,985.
With respect to number of households, Bateshwor Rural Municipality had total 3,671 households. The ward number 5 had most households with total 975, while ward number 4 had least number of households with total 560 number of households.

In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were above 75 (139), between 70 and 74 (154), between 65 and 69 (206),between 60 and 64 (283), and between 55 and 59 (324), with total population of 1,106. With regards to female population, top 5 age groups females were between 10 and 14 (1,443), between 5 and 9 (1,275), below 4 (1,111), between 15 and 19 (963), and between 25 and 29 (953), with total population of 5,745. In contrast, bottom 5 least age group male population were between 70 and 74 (114), above 75 (182), between 65 and 69 (197),between 55 and 59 (261), and between 60 and 64 (282), with total population of 1,036.
The population with age-group 70 to 74 had male to female ratio of 1.35, which states that this age group had maximum males as compared to females. Similarly, age-group above 75 had most female population as compared to male population with male to female ratio of 0.76. The age-groups 70 to 74, 50 to 54, 15 to 19, 35 to 39, 55 to 59, 40 to 44, 20 to 24, 5 to 9, 65 to 69, 45 to 49, 30 to 34 had majority of male population while age-groups 10 to 14, below 4, 25 to 29, above 75 had majority of female population as per male-female ratios. Moreover, age-groups 60 to 64 had eqivalent or almost equal numbers of male and female population with male-female ratios of 1.

Population Ratios
There were 59.92 % (12,900 ) of independent population, the working age people between ages of 15 and 64 years. The dependent children, ages below 15 years, were 35.48 % with total number of 7,638. The dependent elderly population, aged 65 and above were 4.61 % with total number of 992. As such, total dependent population including children and elderly people were 40.08 with total number of 8,630

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Bateshwor is Maithili, which is spoken by 14,244 people. The Bateshwor has people who speak other languages, such as Nepali, Magahi, Tamang, Magar, Danuwar, Newar, Urdu, Sunuwar, Majhi, Bhojpuri, Avadhi, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bateshwor Rural Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Koiri/Kushwaha caste with total population of 6,913. There were as little as Kumhar caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bateshwor are Yadav, Danuwar, Tamang, Teli, Chamar/Harijan/Ram, Magar, Sudhi, Bin, Musahar, Dhanuk, Muslim, Baraee, Newar, Chhetri, Badhaee, Kewat, Brahmin - Hill, Hajam/Thakur, Dusadh/Pasawan/Pasi, Sonar, Tatma/Tatwa, Khatwe, Haluwai, Kami, Mallaha, Kurmi, Damai/Dholi, Gharti/Bhujel, Kalwar, Nuniya, Lohar, Bangali, Brahmin - Tarai, Sunuwar, Rajput, Majhi, Tharu, Thakuri, Dhobi, Kathbaniyan, Kayastha, Kumal, Undefined Others, Dom, Punjabi/Shikh, Bantar/Sardar, Kumhar, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.
Top five castes of people in Bateshwor Rural Municipality are Koiri/Kushwaha (6,913), Yadav (1,491), Danuwar (1,109), Tamang (1,103) and Teli (977) with total population of 11,593, which forms 53.85 percent out of total population of 21,530 in Bateshwor Rural Municipality.Population by Disability
Similarly, there were 28 people who were blind and 29 people were deaf, while 6 people were both blind and deaf. Moreover, 34 persons had reported of having speech problems. Total 18 people had multiple disabilities.

Household Foundation
With respect to wall of the houses, 89 houses were mud bonded, 610 houses were cement bonded, 313 houses were wood planks bonded, 2,574 houses were bamboo bonded and 6 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 272 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 170 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 3,009 houses had roof of tile, 99 houses had RCC roofs, 38 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. As per 2011 CBS census, some of the houses had other types of roofs while some didn't report about the roof structure.
With respect to the toilets, 2,969 out of 3,671 houses didn't report of having a private toilet for their households. Nevertheless, 328 houses were reported of having flush toilet while 317 houses reported having ordinary toilets.
Utilities
With reference to source of fuel, 2,404 households reported their source of fuel as firewood while 47 households had kerosene as their fuel source. The LP gas was used by 33 households as a source of fuel. Moreover, other sources of fuel were cow dung (1,120), bio-gas (7), fuel electricity (1), etc.
Same as, total 2,983 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 515, while 60 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.81.
Facilities
Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 257 establishments in Bateshwor Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 833 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 590 and female engagement of 243 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.24 people engaged with average males are 2.30 and females are 0.95. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 2.43, which means as many as 2.43 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 70.83 percent while the females are 29.17 percent.
