Aanbookhaireni is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Tanahun district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Aanbookhaireni has total 6 wards, which are scattered across 128 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality had total population of 20,768.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality had total 20,768 population with 9,504 males and 11,264 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 6,977, while ward number 5 had least number of population with 6,977.
With respect to number of households, Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality had total 4,911 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 1,862, while ward number 5 had least number of households with total 356 number of households.

There were only 14,179 people fully literate in Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 323 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 5,922 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality, total 2,928 males and 2,994 females were attending the school. Out of total 4911 households in Aanbookhaireni Rural Municipality, there were 2,769 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 901 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 1,069 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 135houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,631 houses were mud bonded, 2,122 houses were cement bonded, 73 houses were wood planks bonded, 35 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

In those establishments, total 3,349 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,755 and female engagement of 1,594 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.23 people engaged with average males are 1.69 and females are 1.54. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.10, which means as many as 1.10 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 52.40 percent while the females are 47.60 percent.
