House Design Ratios Piechart of Damak Municipality, Jhapa District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Damak Municipality, Jhapa District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Damak Municipality had foundation as wooden piller with total number of 17,503 (38.51%) houses, while foundation having rcc piller were 5,078 (29.01%) houses. Rest of house foundations were cement bonded (4,771), other types or except listed here (913) and mud bonded (287). With respect to the house wall, most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 9,538 (53.62 %) houses, while second most houses had bamboo wall with total number of 5,837 (32.82%) houses. Remaining houses had wood planks (1,889), other types or except listed here (352) and mud bonded (125) wall. Similarly, there were 10,350 (58.26%) houses that had roof type as galvanized followed by 6,029 (33.94%) houses having roof type as rcc. Rest of houses had roof type as thatch (1,156), tile (105), other types or except listed here (70) and wood (54). In total, 10,470 (58.22%) houses had flush toilet while 5,794 (32.22%) houses had ordinary toilet and 1,721 (9.57%) had no toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
