The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Kanda Rural Municipality, Bajhang District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Kanda Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 1 (35,900.00%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 1 (100.00%) houses. With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 358 (99.44 %) houses, while second most houses had wood planks wall with total number of 2 (0.56%) houses. Similarly, there were 227 (63.23%) houses that had roof type as tile followed by 124 (34.54%) houses having roof type as thatch. Rest of houses had roof type as galvanized (7) and mud (1). In total, 347 (96.39%) houses had no toilet while 8 (2.22%) houses had flush toilet and 5 (1.39%) had ordinary toilet.
