The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Palata Rural Municipality, Kalikot District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Palata Rural Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 9 (26,655.56%) houses, while foundation having other types or except listed here were 7 (77.78%) houses. Rest of house foundation was cement bonded (2). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 2,390 (99.25 %) houses, while second most houses had other types or except listed here wall with total number of 11 (0.46%) houses. Remaining houses had cement bonded (4) and wood planks (3) wall. Similarly, there were 2,021 (84.03%) houses that had roof type as mud followed by 322 (13.39%) houses having roof type as thatch. Rest of houses had roof type as wood (20), galvanized (19), tile (19), rcc (3) and other types or except listed here (1). In total, 1,875 (77.80%) houses had no toilet while 403 (16.72%) houses had ordinary toilet and 132 (5.48%) had flush toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
