The pie-charts about different house designs, such as foundation, wall, roof and toilet types of Shailyashikhar Municipality, Darchula District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) of Nepal. As of 2011, largest number of houses in Shailyashikhar Municipality had foundation as mud bonded with total number of 276 (1,344.93%) houses, while foundation having cement bonded were 244 (88.41%) houses. Rest of house foundations were other types or except listed here (20), wooden piller (9) and rcc piller (3). With respect to the house wall, most houses had mud bonded wall with total number of 3,159 (79.21 %) houses, while second most houses had cement bonded wall with total number of 662 (16.60%) houses. Remaining houses had other types or except listed here (133), wood planks (30) and bamboo (2) wall. Similarly, there were 3,726 (93.50%) houses that had roof type as tile followed by 143 (3.59%) houses having roof type as rcc. Rest of houses had roof type as galvanized (60), thatch (35), other types or except listed here (17), mud (2) and wood (2). In total, 2,487 (62.30%) houses had no toilet while 1,299 (32.54%) houses had flush toilet and 206 (5.16%) had ordinary toilet. Just to clarify that, the data that was not stated or information about the people who did not stated what types of house designs they had are not illustrated in the pie chart and are not analyzed here.
