The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Musikot Municipality, Rukum_W District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Musikot Municipality had total population of 32,939 with male 15,416 (46.80%) and female 17,523 (53.20%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 18,726 (56.85%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 13,016 (39.52%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 1,197 (3.63%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 14,213 (43.15%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 9,058 while children below 5 years of age were 3,452, which is equivalent to 381 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
