Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Indrasarowar Rural Municipality, Makwanpur District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Indrasarowar Rural Municipality, Makwanpur District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Indrasarowar Rural Municipality had total population of 17,585 with male 6,509 (37.01%) and female 7,300 (41.51%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 8,487 (48.26%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 4,428 (25.18%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 894 (5.08%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 5,322 (30.26%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 3,780 while children below 5 years of age were 1,139, which is equivalent to 301 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
