Sex, Dependency & Women-Child Ratio Chart of Bishrampur Rural Municipality, Bara District (2011 Census)

The pie-charts for male-female population, child and elderly dependency, and women-child ratios of Bishrampur Rural Municipality, Bara District is based on 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Nepal. As of 2011, Bishrampur Rural Municipality had total population of 23,785 with male 12,547 (52.75%) and female 11,238 (47.25%). Total independent population (male and female between 15 to 65 years of age) were 12,769 (53.69%) while dependent children (below 15 years of age) were 10,008 (42.08%) and elderls (65 years and above) were 1,008 (4.24%). As illustrated in the Chart, total dependent population includes both the children and elderly people who were 11,016 (46.31%). With respect to women and children ratio, total women between age of 15 to 49 years (statistically considered as women of child bearing age) were total 5,108 while children below 5 years of age were 3,191, which is equivalent to 625 children per 1,000 women. This women-child ratio is also considered as fertility ratio when specific fertility related data is not available.
