Matihani Municipality, Mahottari District had total population of 31,026 and total area of 29 square kilometers as per 2011 population census conducted by Central Bureau of statistics (CBS), Nepal. There are 9 wards at present. The population pyramid has been created for male and female population based on five-year age gap.
