Bitthadchir is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Bajhang district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Bitthadchir has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 86 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Bitthadchir Rural Municipality had total population of 17,154.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Bitthadchir Rural Municipality had total 17,154 population with 8,118 males and 9,036 females. Out of total wards, ward number 9 had the largest population 3,364, while ward number 8 had least number of population with 3,364.
With respect to number of households, Bitthadchir Rural Municipality had total 2,739 households. The ward number 9 had most households with total 570, while ward number 3 had least number of households with total 157 number of households.

There were only 7,893 people fully literate in Bitthadchir Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 608 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 5,392 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Bitthadchir Rural Municipality, total 2,865 males and 2,527 females were attending the school. There were as little as Terai Others caste with population of as little as 12 in total. People of several other castes who live in Bitthadchir are Kami, Brahmin - Hill, Dalit Others, Damai/Dholi, Thakuri, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Sarki, Terai Others, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Household Foundation
Out of total 2739 households in Bitthadchir Rural Municipality, there were 2,666 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 27 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 2 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 20houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,589 houses were mud bonded, 102 houses were cement bonded, 22 houses were wood planks bonded, 1 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 261 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 49 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 2,378 houses had roof of tile, 19 houses had RCC roofs, 1 houses had roof of woods while 1 houses were reported having roof of mud. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 556 establishments in Bitthadchir Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,439 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 929 and female engagement of 510 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.59 people engaged with average males are 1.67 and females are 0.92. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.82, which means as many as 1.82 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 64.56 percent while the females are 35.44 percent.
