Kedarasyu is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Bajhang district, Sudurpashchim Province of Nepal. Kedarasyu has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 114 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Kedarasyu Rural Municipality had total population of 21,307.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Kedarasyu Rural Municipality had total 21,307 population with 10,046 males and 11,261 females. Out of total wards, ward number 1 had the largest population 2,914, while ward number 2 had least number of population with 2,914.
With respect to number of households, Kedarasyu Rural Municipality had total 3,586 households. The ward number 1 had most households with total 584, while ward number 3 had least number of households with total 277 number of households.
As illustrated in the chart, the ratio of male to female population was 0.89, which indicates that Kedarasyu Rural Municipality had 11 percent lower males as compared to the females. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 9,517 people fully literate in Kedarasyu Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 707 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 6,864 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Kedarasyu Rural Municipality, total 3,616 males and 3,248 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 2,868 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 951 male and 1,917 female were not attending teh school. The ratio of male and female who were going to school was 1.11 while the ratio for those who were not attending the school was 0.50.The CBS census also states that 155 males and 174 females did not state whether they were attending school or not.

According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 14,531 in Kedarasyu Rural Municipality with 7,105 (48.90%) of males and 7,426 (51.10%) females. There were total 53 schools. In average, 274 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Kedarasyu is Nepali, which is spoken by 10,913 people. The Kedarasyu has people who speak other languages, such as Bajhangi, Doteli, Rai, Baitadeli, Gurung, etc.

According to 2011 census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Kedarasyu Rural Municipality was inhabitted by mostly the people of Chhetri caste with total population of 14,966. There were as little as Terai Others caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Kedarasyu are Dalit Others, Brahmin - Hill, Thakuri, Kami, Damai/Dholi, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Sarki, Rai, Gurung, Terai Others, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Household Foundation
Out of total 3586 households in Kedarasyu Rural Municipality, there were 3,518 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 17 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 2 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 25houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,409 houses were mud bonded, 107 houses were cement bonded, 8 houses were wood planks bonded, 1 houses were bamboo bonded and 2 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 720 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 166 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 2,533 houses had roof of tile, 31 houses had RCC roofs, 0 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. out of 3,586 households in Kedarasyu Rural Municipality, 1,516 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 2,008 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 643 establishments in Kedarasyu Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,745 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,145 and female engagement of 600 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.71 people engaged with average males are 1.78 and females are 0.93. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.91, which means as many as 1.91 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 65.62 percent while the females are 34.38 percent.
