Tripurasundari is a Municipality, which is located in Dolpa district, Karnali Province of Nepal. Tripurasundari has total 11 wards, which are scattered across 394 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Tripurasundari Municipality had total population of 10,104.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Tripurasundari Municipality had total 10,104 population with 4,966 males and 5,138 females. Out of total wards, ward number 2 had the largest population 1,433, while ward number 6 had least number of population with 1,433.
With respect to number of households, Tripurasundari Municipality had total 1,944 households. The ward number 2 had most households with total 280, while ward number 6 had least number of households with total 86 number of households.

There were only 4,639 people fully literate in Tripurasundari Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 395 people were able to read but not write. Out of total 2,878 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Tripurasundari Municipality, total 1,504 males and 1,374 females were attending the school. Out of total 1944 households in Tripurasundari Municipality, there were 1,930 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 3 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 2houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 1,920 houses were mud bonded, 4 houses were cement bonded, 7 houses were wood planks bonded, 1 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

In those establishments, total 541 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 358 and female engagement of 183 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.35 people engaged with average males are 1.56 and females are 0.80. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.96, which means as many as 1.96 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 66.17 percent while the females are 33.83 percent.
