Manahari is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Makwanpur district, Province No. 3 of Nepal. Manahari has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 200 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Manahari Rural Municipality had total population of 38,399.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Manahari Rural Municipality had total 38,399 population with 18,520 males and 19,879 females. Out of total wards, ward number 6 had the largest population 7,019, while ward number 8 had least number of population with 7,019.
With respect to number of households, Manahari Rural Municipality had total 7,891 households. The ward number 6 had most households with total 1,441, while ward number 4 had least number of households with total 548 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 22,679 people fully literate in Manahari Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 834 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 11,537 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Manahari Rural Municipality, total 5,517 males and 6,020 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 5,920 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 2,677 male and 3,243 female were not attending teh school. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Manahari is Nepali, which is spoken by 18,280 people. The Manahari has people who speak other languages, such as Tamang, Chepang, Newar, Magar, Gurung, Bhojpuri, Bankariya, Maithili, Rai, Urdu, Hindi, etc.

There were as little as Kathbaniyan caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Manahari are Chhetri, Brahmin - Hill, Chepang/Praja, Kami, Rai, Magar, Newar, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Damai/Dholi, Thakuri, Gurung, Majhi, Muslim, Sarki, Limbu, Gharti/Bhujel, Pahari, Danuwar, Teli, Tharu, Dalit Others, Undefined Others, Kanu, Rajput, Kathbaniyan, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Household Foundation
Out of total 7891 households in Manahari Rural Municipality, there were 1,716 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 707 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 144 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 5,303houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 1,468 houses were mud bonded, 1,550 houses were cement bonded, 4,554 houses were wood planks bonded, 125 houses were bamboo bonded and 4 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 7,891 households in Manahari Rural Municipality, 1,511 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 6,313 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 1,307 establishments in Manahari Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,968 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,589 and female engagement of 1,379 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.27 people engaged with average males are 1.22 and females are 1.06. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.15, which means as many as 1.15 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 53.54 percent while the females are 46.46 percent.
