Kageshwori Manohara has total 9 wards, which are scattered across 27 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Kageshwori Manohara Municipality had total population of 60,237.

As per 2011 population census, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality had total 60,237 population with 30,233 males and 30,004 females. Out of total wards, ward number 9 had the largest population 13,600, while ward number 3 had least number of population with 13,600.
With respect to number of households, Kageshwori Manohara Municipality had total 14,329 households. The ward number 9 had most households with total 3,558, while ward number 3 had least number of households with total 503 number of households.

There were only 45,526 people fully literate in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 1,427 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 13,467 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, total 7,036 males and 6,431 females were attending the school. Out of total 14329 households in Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, there were 4,140 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 5,559 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 4,262 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 116houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,266 houses were mud bonded, 10,206 houses were cement bonded, 69 houses were wood planks bonded, 163 houses were bamboo bonded and 359 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.27, which means as many as 1.27 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 56.03 percent while the females are 43.97 percent.
