Jwalamukhi is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Dhading district, Province No. 3 of Nepal. Jwalamukhi has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 114 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality had total population of 23,966.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality had total 23,966 population with 10,573 males and 13,393 females. Out of total wards, ward number 5 had the largest population 4,381, while ward number 2 had least number of population with 4,381.
With respect to number of households, Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality had total 5,730 households. The ward number 5 had most households with total 1,051, while ward number 2 had least number of households with total 693 number of households.

There were only 13,222 people fully literate in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 487 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 7,463 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality, total 3,604 males and 3,859 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 2,154 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 702 male and 1,452 female were not attending teh school. According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 6,599 in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality with 3,195 (48.42%) of males and 3,404 (51.58%) females. There were total 46 schools. In average, 143 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Jwalamukhi is Nepali, which is spoken by 20,043 people. The Jwalamukhi has people who speak other languages, such as Magar, Tamang, Newar, Kumal, Gurung, Maithili, etc.

There were as little as Teli caste with population of as little as 23 in total. People of several other castes who live in Jwalamukhi are Newar, Magar, Chhetri, Sarki, Tamang, Gurung, Kumal, Kami, Damai/Dholi, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Gharti/Bhujel, Thakuri, Thakali, Majhi, Hajam/Thakur, Muslim, Teli, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total 5730 households in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality, there were 5,573 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 27 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 5 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 99houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 5,475 houses were mud bonded, 63 houses were cement bonded, 33 houses were wood planks bonded, 121 houses were bamboo bonded and 2 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

out of 5,730 households in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality, 639 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 4,949 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 648 establishments in Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 2,203 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 1,131 and female engagement of 1,072 persons.In every business, there were an average of 3.40 people engaged with average males are 1.75 and females are 1.65. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.06, which means as many as 1.06 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 51.34 percent while the females are 48.66 percent.
