Chautara Sangachowkgadhi has total 14 wards, which are scattered across 165 square kilometers of geographical area. There were only 26,909 people fully literate in Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 1,249 people were able to read but not write. Out of total 10906 households in Chautara Sangachowkgadhi Municipality, there were 9,760 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 440 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 533 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 27houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 9,533 houses were mud bonded, 1,175 houses were cement bonded, 24 houses were wood planks bonded, 11 houses were bamboo bonded and 2 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
