Yangwarak is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Panchthar district, Province No. 1 of Nepal. Yangwarak has total 6 wards, which are scattered across 209 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Yangwarak Rural Municipality had total population of 18,281.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Yangwarak Rural Municipality had total 18,281 population with 8,701 males and 9,580 females. Out of total wards, ward number 3 had the largest population 3,891, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 3,891.
With respect to number of households, Yangwarak Rural Municipality had total 3,811 households. The ward number 3 had most households with total 766, while ward number 1 had least number of households with total 494 number of households.

In terms of age, the largest population in Yangwarak Rural Municipality were between 15 and 19 years of age with total 2,369. Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 12,220 people fully literate in Yangwarak Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 609 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 5,813 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Yangwarak Rural Municipality, total 2,929 males and 2,884 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 1,702 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 737 male and 965 female were not attending teh school. According to Nepal Government records as of 2017, there were total 4,480 in Yangwarak Rural Municipality with 2,179 (48.64%) of males and 2,301 (51.36%) females. There were total 51 schools. In average, 88 students were studying in each school.

Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Yangwarak is Nepali, which is spoken by 8,088 people. The Yangwarak has people who speak other languages, such as Limbu, Rai, Magar, Bantawa, Newar, Gurung, Sunuwar, Tamang, Sherpa, Chamling, Thulung, Khaling, Maithili, Sampang, Sign Language, Kulung, etc.

There were as little as Gharti/Bhujel caste with population of as little as 23 in total. People of several other castes who live in Yangwarak are Brahmin - Hill, Rai, Chhetri, Kami, Gurung, Damai/Dholi, Magar, Newar, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Sarki, Sunuwar, Tamang, Sherpa, Undefined Others, Gharti/Bhujel, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total 3811 households in Yangwarak Rural Municipality, there were 3,604 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 20 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 6 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 141houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,209 houses were mud bonded, 28 houses were cement bonded, 241 houses were wood planks bonded, 252 houses were bamboo bonded and 0 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.
There were several types of house roofs reported. Total 1,855 houses were reported of having thatch roofs while 1,553 houses had galvanized roofs. Similarly, 16 houses had roof of tile, 3 houses had RCC roofs, 26 houses had roof of woods while 0 houses were reported having roof of mud. Same as, total 1,548 households had reported of having electricity as the source of their household's lighting. The households still using kerosene as source of light were 1,519, while 675 households used solar energy as source of lights. Total 0 households also reported of using bio-gas as a source of light. The ratio of use of electricity as compared to other source of light was 0.41.

out of 3,811 households in Yangwarak Rural Municipality, 879 houses reported of having no any facility in their household while 2,917 households reported of using at least one facility. Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 561 establishments in Yangwarak Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,284 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 692 and female engagement of 592 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.29 people engaged with average males are 1.23 and females are 1.06. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.17, which means as many as 1.17 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 53.89 percent while the females are 46.11 percent.
