Diprung Chuichumma is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Khotang district, Province No. 1 of Nepal. Diprung Chuichumma has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 136 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality had total population of 20,175.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality had total 20,175 population with 9,357 males and 10,818 females. Out of total wards, ward number 4 had the largest population 3,977, while ward number 6 had least number of population with 3,977.
With respect to number of households, Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality had total 4,140 households. The ward number 4 had most households with total 797, while ward number 6 had least number of households with total 381 number of households.

There were only 13,052 people fully literate in Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 549 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 6,655 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality, total 3,188 males and 3,467 females were attending the school. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Diprung Chuichumma is Nepali, which is spoken by 11,391 people. The Diprung Chuichumma has people who speak other languages, such as Chamling, Magar, Tamang, Newar, Rai, Thulung, Majhi, Sherpa, Bantawa, etc.

There were as little as Others caste with population of as little as 55 in total. Out of total 4140 households in Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality, there were 4,003 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 2 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 1 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 82houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 3,920 houses were mud bonded, 2 houses were cement bonded, 2 houses were wood planks bonded, 166 houses were bamboo bonded and 10 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 459 establishments in Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 1,074 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 646 and female engagement of 428 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.34 people engaged with average males are 1.41 and females are 0.93. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.51, which means as many as 1.51 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 60.15 percent while the females are 39.85 percent.
