Sidingba is a Rural Municipality, which is located in Taplejung district, Province No. 1 of Nepal. Sidingba has total 7 wards, which are scattered across 206 square kilometers of geographical area. According to 2011 Census conducted by Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Sidingba Rural Municipality had total population of 12,099.
Wardwise Population and Households
As per 2011 population census, Sidingba Rural Municipality had total 12,099 population with 5,777 males and 6,322 females. Out of total wards, ward number 6 had the largest population 2,357, while ward number 1 had least number of population with 2,357.
With respect to number of households, Sidingba Rural Municipality had total 2,370 households. The ward number 6 had most households with total 463, while ward number 1 had least number of households with total 118 number of households.

Literacy, Education Levels & Schooling
There were only 7,871 people fully literate in Sidingba Rural Municipality as of 2011 who were able to both read and write, while 340 people were able to read but not write. In percentage while compared to genderwise population, there were inf percent of male were literate, while the percentage of female literacy was inf only.The literacy ratio between male and female population was nan.
Out of total 3,981 population between the age of 5 and 25 as of 2011 in Sidingba Rural Municipality, total 1,938 males and 2,043 females were attending the school. Same as, out of total 1,261 population of the same age group who were not attending the school, total 553 male and 708 female were not attending teh school. Population by Language Spoken
Mostly spoken language in Sidingba is Nepali, which is spoken by 6,485 people. The Sidingba has people who speak other languages, such as Limbu, Rai, Tamang, Gurung, Bantawa, Yakkha, Chamling, Newar, Sampang, Magar, Khaling, Sunuwar, Sherpa, etc.

There were as little as Sherpa caste with population of as little as 11 in total. People of several other castes who live in Sidingba are Chhetri, Rai, Brahmin - Hill, Kami, Tamang, Gurung, Newar, Yakkha, Damai/Dholi, Sarki, Magar, Undefined Others, Sunuwar, Sanyasi/Dashnami, Sherpa, etc. Only the population of castes with above 1,000 population are illustrated in the table.

Out of total 2370 households in Sidingba Rural Municipality, there were 2,254 houses that were founded on mud bonded while 1 houses were cement bonded. Same as, 0 households were reported of being founded on RCC piller, 97houses were founded on wood.
With respect to wall of the houses, 2,112 houses were mud bonded, 7 houses were cement bonded, 62 houses were wood planks bonded, 170 houses were bamboo bonded and 1 houses had unbaked bricks on their outer walls.Rest of the houses were reported of having other types of outer wall, while some of them reported nothing of having the outer wall bonding.

Economic Census
According to 2018 Economic Census, there are total 249 establishments in Sidingba Rural Municipality that are involved in various economic activities. In those establishments, total 560 persons are engaged for the economic activities, as a self-employed or an employee, with total male engagement of 339 and female engagement of 221 persons.In every business, there were an average of 2.25 people engaged with average males are 1.36 and females are 0.89. The ratio of male to female engagement in the establishments are 1.53, which means as many as 1.53 males are enagement in the economic activities per female.
Similarly, the engagement of males were 60.54 percent while the females are 39.46 percent.
