The candidte of Nepal Majdoor Kissan Party - Sunil Prajapati secured 18,100 (31.47%) votes and secured victory in the election. The runner-up candidate was Lekhnath Neupane of Nepali Congress Party who secured 13,265 (23.06%) votes and came in second position.
