There were 43,446 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Tanahun District, Constituency No. 3. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Tuk Raj Sigdel secured 20,562 (47.33%) votes and secured victory in the election.
