There were 32,480 votes casted during 1999 House of Representatives elections in Sankhuwasabha District, Constituency No. 2. The candidte of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist-Leninist) - Parshu Ram Meghi Gurung secured 16,538 (50.92%) votes and secured victory in the election.
